WJEC Computer Science Unit 5 exemplars?

Hello, I have to do the Unit 5 coursework for Computer Science and I'm wondering if anyone can send me an example or an exemplar of what to do/not to do to get the maximum amount of points?

I'm struggling a bit trying to see where I could be losing marks.
A Level? Which board? It makes a difference to marking criteria.

WJEC.

Have a look here from page 27 to 29: https://www.wjec.co.uk/media/wl4kj5l1/wjec-gce-computer-science-spec-from-2015.pdf. WJEC are good at stating exactly what they want in their spec. Use these pages as a tick list and compare your project against it. If you've missed something, add it to tick that box.

Then look here, pages 14 to 19: it's the WJEC Examiner report reviewing 2019's Unit 5 projects --> https://www.wjec.co.uk/media/gg2hntig/wjec-gce-computer-science-examiners-report-summer-2019.pdf. It points out errors commonly made by students in that year, and tells you what they want to see in a project. You can compare what you're building against that and treat it as a checklist for each section.

There are some people's projects on Github and other sites, but you don't know how the examiners looked on them or what they are really worth. Also, it will take you a while to go through them in detail. Using the Board's own 'before' and 'after' judgments is likely faster and more precisely informative for you.

Hope it helps. Good luck.
