Mysterious chord found

There is a BbmAm7 chord found in a piece I need to play for a worship session at hkustsuccc. That is on piano btw.

I have no idea how to play this chord as I think that doesn't exist. I think it is a Bbm and Am7 split up.

Are there no recordings of that piece you can find?

That was actually a Bbm then an Am7 after 2 beats.

I tried it out today. That line was originally written as Bb BbmAm7 Fm/Ab

I played it as Bb Bbm Am7 Ab

It'll mean a quick switch between both chords.

I played that line as Bb (root) -> Bbm (root) -> Am7 (root) -> Fm (first inversion) with my right hand. My left hand is typically stretched out wide, and I play parallel octaves with it, playing Bb -> Bb -> A -> Ab.

And it works perfectly.
