Likely hood of eye colour from genetics

I have a question about eye colours
So if someone has dark brown eyes and both their parents had dark brown eyes etc. Is it impossible for their genetics to produce different eye colours in one generation?
Sorry just thinking

no...firstly,we dont know that they're homozygous for this by just having one child's eye color same as theirs.secondly, mutation is another way for introducing alleles of a gene...so it is not necessary for one generation to all have same eye color...
