Are you ready for Kingston University's Open Day?

It's that time of year again: Kingston University's Open Days are fast approaching! Whether you're a potential student who already has an offer to study with us, or a GCSE/A-Level student who is considering applying to Kingston in the future, our in-person undergraduate Open Days on Saturday 22nd April, Wednesday 14th June and Saturday 8th July are a great opportunity to have a guided tour of our campus and facilities.

Throughout the day, you'll be able to talk to a range of both academics and students, as well as having the chance to attend subject-specific lessons led by top professionals in their fields. You'll have the opportunity to ask subject related questions to lecturers - or, if you're more interested in finding out about what university life is like at Kingston, grab some free tea and coffee and hit up the Student Services exhibition to learn more about accommodation, funding and admissions.

Whilst you're more than welcome to drop by all four of our campuses, it's always a good idea to prioritise the one where your course is taught, as if you come to Kingston that's where you'll be spending the majority of your time. A comprehensive list can be found on the Kingston University website, but some of the key subject areas for each campus include:

Penrhyn Road: Biological, Sport and Environmental Sciences, Pharmacology, IT-related courses (Computer Science, Cybersecurity, etc), Criminology, Psychology, Dance, Drama, Journalism and Law.

Kingston Hill: Business and accounting, nursing, early years development, education, social work and midwifery.

Knight's Park: Most art related courses, including interior design, illustration animation, fashion, filmmaking, architecture and fine art.

Roehampton Vale: Aerospace, aircraft and aviation engineering, as well as commercial pilot training.

However, if you do have the time to visit more than one campus, definitely go for it! It's a good idea to familiarise yourself with them all - and as one of the few universities to have their own plane, I can assure you that Roehampton Vale is always worth a visit just for the chance to see it up close.

Not able to make it in-person? Don't worry! The KU website hosts an online virtual experience, which allows you to explore student life, learn about the support available to you and access content related to your field of study. Make sure to check it out! https://experience.kingston.ac.uk/

I hope to see you all at the Open Days soon! If you have any questions, just pop them down below and I'll get back to you as soon as possible.

- Eve (BA Fine Art and Art History).
