Is this a mistake? - A-level Biology

Hi, it says that stage A is metaphase because the chromosomes are at the equator, but they aren't. Wouldn't this be prophase?

yeah i did this question a couple of weeks ago and i was confused because the chromatids are meant to be aligned at the centre but it doesn't look like they are
