Help with bio question!!!

I think the answer in the mark scheme is wrong.

The volume of air breathed out in Group A is 4.2 ish, for group B it is 0.8 ish.

If they want percentage decrease then you do 4.2-0.8/4.2 which is 81%.

They have given the percentage of A that B is.

Either the question or the mark scheme are wrong, I think.

Year 12 Biology A Level student. May not know some things you need but just from looking at the graph, I don’t see how the answer to the question is 19%.

badly worded and i agree with catlover1
as the two groups are different people it is not really a decrease. the people in one group just have a lower FEV1. i think they have got a bit confused. people who have asthma have a tendency to get wheezy and their FEV falls during an attack then after treatment it rises.
all you can say is that the people in group B had a 81 percent lower FEV1 than group A
