GCSEs

hi so im im year 11 and my gcses start next week. I asked today (I know its late) about leaving like I have a timeout card in lessons when im really anxious and my PSO said that if you leave you can't go back in. Is this true? What happens if you were to have a panic/anxiety attack in the exam? I have undiagnosed anxiety and get a smaller hall but im so anxious. any help would be much appreciated

If you're undiagnosed, I'd recommend asking for a bathroom break whenever you feel like you're about to have a panic attack - they'll escort you to the bathroom and then you can just return afterwards.

And get a diagnosis!

At my school I have the equivalent of a timeout card for my <insert mess of mh issues here>, and I do get rest breaks in exams which let me leave the hall, however I think they're intended to be for a physical health condition i have...
With that being said, I think your best option is just going to be to ask to use the loo - it also has the advantage of not needing everyone else in the hall to know why you're leaving!
