Economics Edexcel Exam A levels 2023

Hi guys. - how did you find it? I wanted to ask a question - for Q8 based on the government intervention for the reduction in carbon emissions on the road from cars, could you use tradable pollution permits - SPECIFICALLY for firms that transport on UK roads !!!!

Some people are saying no but my teacher says yes and my friends do as well, because I mentioned that the permits are on firms who transport goods on UK roads?? Thoughts ???

i dunno about that one buddy. i spoke about subsidies and taxation for Q8.

it 100% works dw, but there were easier points to make like tax and subsidies.just as long as you linked it to road transport your good.

Oh thank god. Yeah, the only time i remembered to link it is with the sentence “on firms who transport goods on UK roads”. I completely forgot about cars but luckily added that in when I remembered phewww! Thanks! I asked my AI and they also said it was fine hahahaa
