Confused on respirometer experiment

Hi so I recently did a practise question ( linked below) where they used a respirometer but I’m just a bit confused by it all . Specifically , I don’t get why some of the numbers are in the minuses and why they are only using lime soda for one of the reactions . Any help would be much appreciated , thank you x

For me it is an ambiguous presented question as it is not made clear which respirometer the table refers to. A diagram of the respirometer would also help to visualise the liquid movement in the negative and positive direction.

It seems that line 1 of the table refers to soda lime present and the negative figure indicates the liquid moves in the direction caused by a drop in gas pressure as oxygen is respired and resulting carbon dioxide absorbed by soda lime. The other results are without soda lime and the liquid movement reflects the net change in gas pressure associated with the combination of respiration and photosynthesis.
