Confused on respirometer question
Hi so I recently did a practise question ( linked below) where they used a respirometer but I’m just a bit confused by it all . Specifically , I don’t get why some of the numbers are in the minuses and why they are only using lime soda for one of the reactions . Any help would be much appreciated , thank you x

i think it's negative possibly as it's got an arbitrary point at 0, and the fluid may be moving the otherway due to the production of gases
