Hello, i applied for BA Economics with a placement year, but I wanted to do Bsc. I was wondering if they would accept me without an a level in maths for the Bsc course or not? I do not know if it is essential or not.

So glad to hear you've chosen Reading!
Unfortunately a prerequisite of our Bsc Economics is a maths A Level, purely because a Bsc degree is more maths-intensive, so requires more background knowledge of the subject. Our Ba is more theoretical, but just as important in terms of skill and employability! If you have any other questions, please let us know!
