Psychology or Law degree

Hi !
I’ve been offered a place in 2 Universities to do a degree in Law or Psychology. I like both these subjects and they are connected in ways. I’m just wondering if I start psychology and do that degree can I then use that later to go on work in Law? I read somewhere on this forum that 50% of Law recruit people who don’t hold Law degrees?? I was a bit shocked at that . And vice versa if I start the Law degree but later decide I wanna work in Psychology, is there a path to that??

Thanks for any advice !!
Yes it’s true that law firms tend to recruit people who hold degrees in subjects other than law. You would finish your psychology degree then sit the PGDL (Post graduate diploma in law) which is one year i think. After you finish that you’re basically at the same stage as someone who’s just finished their law degree. You would have to prepare for and pass the SQE to qualify. I don’t think you need to do a training contract after the SQE anymore but not sure on that.
