Masters Application/ Route suggestions

Hello,

Can someone please help?

I have a degree in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics.

I want to pursue masters in Health economics and decision science in LSE, London School of Economics and Political science. I have found short course Health economics and decision science in this university. I am thinking for doing in order to increase my chance of getting into the university for masters in the same programme.

Now my question is, do you think it is worth doing short course in order to get into the university? Or perhaps would be helpful applying to other relatively top unis.
