Apply to notts gem
Hi, your Medicine dreams are not over. Notts accepts 2.2..universities like Swansea, sgul, Worcester, Exeter (only looks at gamsat score and not degree) accept 2.2 with a masters degree. I took this route as well. I completed a masters after my undergrad to be able to apply to more universities and increase my odds if getting into Medixine when I do apply. Hope this helps

Hi,

For St Georges, London, can I still apply there with my 2:2 degree or do I need to complete a MSc & then apply?

Need an Msc with a Merit then apply. The ones that consider any grade or 2.2 are exeter and Notts. Swansea, sgul, and Worcester need an msc. Some say with merit, others say a pass. So aim for a merit if you do a msc.

Hi,

Do you have a link for the entry information in regards to University of Exeter for the Grad Entry route? I can't seem to find this information?

Thanks

https://www.exeter.ac.uk/study/undergraduate/courses/medicine/medicine/ most info is here. I called the uni as well to ask requirements and to double check. I advise you do the same. N.b exeter requires a higher score for gamsat in comparison to Notts for an interview. Also, Exeter is 5 year a100 undergrad programme instead of a101 GEM. So keep funding in mind.
Could look into Liverpool a101 as well. Accept 2.2 plus a masters degree.

I have a 2:2 integrated masters in Maths (2016) and have offers from Swansea, Liverpool, and Chester. All of them are conditional on me "completing and passing" (50%) my current Masters degree. I think my Chester offer would have been unconditional if I weren't doing my current masters, as they accept 2:2 for integrated masters, but given I am currently studying it was made a condition.

I went into this year thinking there was no hope of getting in given my previous degree mark, but the work has paid off! Good luck!
