do i understand stuff if its not exactly right according to the mark scheme?

would i still be rewarded marks if i don't approach things in the same way the mark schemes expect, but its still the right concept overall? (computer science OCR)

If it is GCSE, then they can be specific in their mark scheme. Especially, the mechanisms like the coding and algorithms and sorts, if you do it another way you will not get the marks. Ie you can only move one word or number at a time in a bubble sort? (I did GCSE last year and then blanked it from my mind as I didn’t need it).

I think for written questions you should be ok.

Check how specific the mark scheme is
