Personal statements and trauma dumping
Hi I'm a year 12 student applying to do law and I'm starting to write my personal statement. My dad was murdered when I was younger and that's why I got interested into law, could I write that in my personal statement or would it just seem that I'm trying to trauma dump to get a sympathy acceptance?

jesus christ im so sorry, depends how you write about it i guess it definitely is a unique reason to study law but as long as you dont milk it and 'trauma dump' i guess its fine? maybe make it short and brief so your passion for law is the highlight
