Hey everyone - best of luck for A-Level results day! In preparation for clearing, I've made a thread - as I joined QMUL via clearing.

Important information:
Clearing opens on 5 July 2023 (but don't apply until you have your results!)
Clearing hotline: 0800 376 1800
Online form: https://www.qmul.ac.uk/clearing/find-your-course/

When you call us, have all the information ready to hand. You’ll need the following:

UCAS ID number
Grades achieved
Course(s) you’re interested in (including the course code)
Name, date of birth, phone number and other relevant information. We may need to check these for security and confidentiality

I’m waiting for a level results day but the ones that are listed now that say for international students only is it likely to change.

Hi! Thanks for the info, called the hotline on +448003761800 applying online to ask a couple of questions but got redirected to another department which wasn't the clearing line? Is there another number we can call directly? Thanks

Hi! Unfortunately, that is the only hotline clearing number. There shouldn't be issues with redirection as wherever you were sent should have been able to answer the questions. Usually the clearing hotline is just to apply for a course through clearing, though

Since then I have been ringing the hotline asking for an update and they believe it is still with the department, it has been close to 2 weeks now with no response yet, just wondering if this is the usual wait? Thanks!

Hey there! Sorry to hear about that, but yes, as you've correctly guessed this is not unusual particularly around this time when the department is really busy. It may be worth still following up with them though. Please do let me know if I can be of any further help!

Would there still be any chance that the courses listed for overseas students could change given that they don’t apply / take it up. Im interested in computer science and management ITMB ( I’m a home student )
