Hey! Is there a particular era of texts you like? A play like Othello can work for both of these but I know many people aren't too fond of Shakespeare lol. Other texts could be: Things Fall Apart by Chinua Achebe, The Color Purple by Alice Walker, The Life of Pi by Yann Martel, Beloved by Toni Morrison and The God of Small Things by Arundhati Roy.
