What should I do if I failed maths ?
Today , 24th august 2023 I received my gcse grades
I’m very unpleased with the maths results and I’m shocked that last year the grade boundaries were low
135 /240 was a pass
Now..
I got 147/240 which is a 3?!!!
A pass should be now at 158 marks
Seriously ?
I got grades in other subjects like 5,6 and 9 also 4 but I cannot be happy just because o failed maths.
What shall I do ? Where do I have to go ? Do I need to pay ?🥺

You could ask for a review. It has a risk of losing marks, but it could also gain you marks.
Of course if you don't want to, you could always resit your maths GCSE.

The thing is that I got 147 marks and I checked the grade boundaries and I’m 11 marks away from a 4.
They raised the grade boundaries too much.
