Is it worth applying to Durham?

Hi I'm Rose and im a new year 13 student applying to study modern languages (french and italian) in 2024. I didn't do too well in my gcses however did pass everything:
5 english lang
6 english lit
4 maths
5-5 science
6 media studies
5 history
6 art
9 french
I'm predicted A* (in french) BB (one B could possibly be changed to A however this is unlikely)
I'm eligible for a contextual offer due to personal circumstances and the contextual offer for the class i would apply for is BBB however I'm not sure wether it's worth applying due to somewhat poor gcses

PS- it's somewhat likely one of the Bs could be a C if my teacher refuses to change

Why not? You have 5 options

You have 5 options so why not - the worst that can happen is that you get rejected, or get an offer but don’t meet the grades. But it’s still worth trying as not applying will guarantee you don’t get in!
