Pick an essay topic that you can be objective about. Practice a couple of past papers under timed conditions. Most people spend far to long on the multiple choice questions and run out of time for the essay. Also practice essay planning.

There is a set time for each section... you will always have 90 minutes for mcq and 30 minutes for the essay
