how is nature presented in ozymandias?

I always interpreted it as power of nature being more powerful than power of humans. Ozymandias boasts about his power throughout the poem yet the statue contradicts since it is broken - the reason being nature. This makes Ozymandias appear almost stupid or hypocritical?? Like his arrogance appears to be delusion in some way.

'Two vast and trunkless legs of stone stand in the desert' and Lone and level sands stretch far away’
The statue is broken and the vastness of the desert and sand (nature) emphasises the insignificance of it.

Hope this helps I feel like I don’t make much sense lol 🙂
