career / jobs post uni (anthropology & sociology degree)

Hi everyone,

I study anthropology & sociology, and I'm in my final year completing my research disso (completed ethnographic work).

Over the past few years I've been very inspired to pursue a career in a few different areas such as the civil service (Hr or diplomacy / development), diversity & inclusion sector and social research organisation / think tank (race, sexual identity). But since starting my final year of uni, I have a cold feet so to say?

I just feel a bit lost in what particular direction to head in and commit to. I'd be really grateful if someone could give me some advice on their journey, especially if you came from a similar degree background?

In terms of my work experience, I've worked extensively as a medical secretary, fundraiser, pa to homeless social worker in \South Africa & English teacher in Brazil.

I wondering if I'm being too narrow minded in my career search or if there are roles I'm potentially not considering.

A career which has a decent salary, potential for international placements & social research / policy involvement, are my primary aims, so any suggestions or advise would really welcomed & appreciated

Thank you so much for your help!

Consider the following:

This assumes that you have covered a lot of quantitiative/stats in your degree.
