I dont think i have the GCSE grades for vet university

i just sat my GCSEs and did fairly fine in them except i didnt get a 7 in chemistry (i got 2 marks off a 7). when i check Nottingham Uni (where i want to go) they require a grade 7 or above but i dont have that
i do have the opportunity to get it remarked however it will cost £90 and it may be that i wont get the new grade anyway.

is there any way i can do any extra courses or something to show to the university/universities that i can do chemistry etc (im doing bio, chem and psych for alevel)

Your best bet is to resit it in year 12, or apply to schools which don’t require a 7 in chemistry but that would be most of them - maybe look at gateway courses at Bristol, Nottingham and RVC too. But my recommendations is resit in year 12 - there isn’t really another way to get around that.
