Physics a level content - is the history of the atom in the specification?

Just a quick question because i cant get a straight answer from google. Is the history of the atom part of the a level physics specification (particles) and will it be in the exams? E.g the alpha scattering experiment, Chadwick, everything from GCSE.

Many thanks

3.8.1.1 is Rutherford Scattering and states;
“Qualitative study of Rutherford scattering.
Appreciation of how knowledge and understanding of the structure of the nucleus has changed over time.”

So yes, that would include the history of the atom.
