Do I need economics for a degree

My school advised that I do physics, maths, chemistry and further maths? However if I want to go to LSE could I be rejected?
i would see what LSE looks for in subjects

Have you actually looked at the entry requirements for Economics on Uni websites - start there.
And not just for LSE. Look at Bristol, Manchester, Bath, Warwick, Reading etc.

Those are definetely a good combination to do a degree in economics, However if you want to increase ur chances you could switch Chemistry for History, this will help show them that you are able to do essay based exams.

Unless 'must have an essay-based subject' is one of the entry requirements, then this is totally pointless.

Universities must, by law, state clearly the subjects that are essential or preferred for each degree.
There are no secrets, and no information that only 'special people' know.
