Optometry vs dentistry
I seriously want to know, will I have a good living from this career and be able to progress in terms of salary? Will I be able to live comfortably without many financial problems?
I ask because anyone in my family will end up saying "oh no do medicine or dentistry, the pay is better" but is it seriously worth it if I don't think I'll enjoy those careers? Is the money really that much better in those professions? Also, how are the stress levels compared to Medicine/Dentistry?
I know I shouldn't be letting what they say get to my head but it sort of is, and now I have all these questions. If any of you have a considerable amount of knowledge on Optometry, study it, or work as an Optometrist could you please let me know. Thank you
