Weekend, guys! and it is my turn for polls again! everyone of us are using any vehicles to move from one point to another. No matter what reason it is: we need the means of transport to go to work, holidays or to meet people at another places. My additional questions:

Are you pleased to ride by train (it is horrible in Germany)?
Do you think that your city has a good local public transport?
Have you ever have had delays or cancellations?
Are you dependent on to use a car in your everyday life frequently?
Do you have a fear for flights?

Multiple choice again!

Are you pleased to ride by train (it is horrible in Germany)?
The trains in England are actually decent imho but a bit expensive. I heard trains in Switzerland and Japan are among the best.

Do you think that your city has a good local public transport?
Yes, buses and trains

Have you ever have had delays or cancellations?
Lots of times

Are you dependent on to use a car in your everyday life frequently?
Many people do because of costs and convenience

Do you have a fear for flights?

Not really?

Fear for flights? You can bet on! I at least tried to fly for the first time this year - and then my flight was cancelled!

Do you think that this is destiny?

Probably coincidence, who knows…

I prefer cycling
Unless it's too far! Then in that case I'd probably take the train (as long as they're not delayed) or car if we stop at a nice service station (like Tebay or Gloucester) on the way.

Are you pleased to ride by train?
Generally yes, I like how you can sit and do work/read/watch stuff, and see some nice countryside. However when it's delayed (strikes, staff shortage, or whatever other excuse they make) it's a right pain, especially when you have multiple trains to catch and you miss one because your previous one was late :frown: And I don't like Transport for Wales very much.

Do you think that your city has a good local public transport?
Don't really use it but it's decent.

Have you ever have had delays or cancellations?
Ugh many times. Most of my train journeys have been affected in some way, got stuck at a station for like 3 hours once because trains kept being cancelled. And there's usually some traffic when travelling by car.

Are you dependent on to use a car in your everyday life frequently?
Nah. Prefer cycling or walking.

Do you have a fear for flights?

Not much, I do get a bit of "oh what if it goes wrong" but I realise it's beyond my control and in the end it doesn't really matter, I'm just an insignificant human. Turbulence is kind of fun hehe

Whatever, I won't fly for the next years. I use the train next time. And probably in the Switzerland. I want to convince myself, because I learnt the same.

Sounds like that Britain is not better in terms of realiability of the railroads. Have you ever had a cancellation due to lines in reparation?

Probably :/
I've had trains delayed due to the sun being "too bright"!
