Hi!
I studied both the comedy and crime units so I read importance of being earnest and twelfth night with when will ther be good news and Brighton rock.

For crime we did browning (and a two anthologies for both crime and comedy)
And for coursework /wider reading I would recommend finding what kind of critical lense you are interested in and picking books that correspond (if your interested in Marxism read the Great Gatsby, feminism maybe read wide Sargasso sea or silence of the girls etc)
However check with what your examboard is looking for
