I don’t like modern day feminism either but oh dear, not appropriate comments to make.

Now I don’t know what Ava herself said on air but I’m seeing the majority of people defending Fox in YouTube comment sections.

I watched the original video live as it was on BBC Politics Live.
https://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/m001qwx4/politics-live-25092023

you can watch it above (from 37:00) and make your own independent informed opinion rather than I sharing my view and it triggering a debate.

BBC shows the original interview and comments?

The original interview was on BBC Politics Live. Ava Santina was on there as a guest and there was a segment about men’s mental health. The discussion did not seem to go well, as Ava made some ‘colour’ statements.

Laurence Fox and Dan Wooton were reacting to that discussion on GB News. It was during that reaction segment that Laurence Fox made his stupid comments about Ava Santina rather than tackle her comments.

He did so apparently because Wooton didn't support him and Fox had done when Wooton was in trouble a while ago. That makes sense but it's all very backstabbing and unpleasant. They should be politicians.

Fox has already had a go at that gig and it went about as well as you’d expect.

Yeah I’ve seen people criticise Ava’s comments

Her comments were horrible. If it was the other way round and those comments were targeted at women, there would have been outrage.

I have watched some of Ava’s videos online and I think that she has strong views against men. She tends to try to paint men with the same brush and paints women as victims her default.

here is a video that drew online criticisms months ago:

Maybe

:yy:
Looks like the clickbaity Mr. Fox is exporting a few leaves from of the Donald Trump politics playbook into British tv and social media.
I wonder what financial incentives his backers have agreed with him for providing this service. :curious:
Monthly retainers, discretionary bonuses or per high publicity generating incident.
Fox and Calvin Robinson have now been sacked.
