Hi guys , I am a high school student currently in year 11 and i always hear people saying that they are going to town ( manchester city centre ) to study . My question is , where exactly do they go ? is there a library or place students go to normally to revise/study ?

Yes, a huge central library and then several university libraries which can be accessed in some cases by prior organisation.

People also go sit in coffee shops etc to work.
