I don’t know what to do, being a paralegal

I am getting a BA in law without hons and I know I have a lot of career choices but I don’t know if I should become a paralegal or go into the civil services… I don’t mind becoming a paralegal and I have work experience (not as a paralegal) but some internships and a scholarship. I am volunteering at the moment and I was wondering if it is a good idea to become a paralegal or not..

What is like to become a paralegal? What are the pros and cons?

Hey!

If you are looking at options outside of the typical route to work in a law firm, you should know there is also the opportunity to work in-house for companies such as the Big Four or tech companies in their legal departments. I know that the Commercial Law Academy has a good course on alternative legal careers.
Just to clarify, you say a degree without honours - so an ordinary degree?

If so then your options may be considerably more limited.
