Bilirubin practical university biology help

Hi, iv just done a practical on measuring how bilirubin binds to albumin. For the write up it states to 1) Work out the actual [bilirubin] in the dilution series, knowing that the bilirubin stock solution that you diluted started at 1mM. You will need to work out what each of the dilutions (1/1000, 1/750 etc.) will be in μM. Record your values to 1 d.p. I don't really understand this though. Would it just be for the first one e.g. 1000/1000 which would be 1um concentration of Bilirubin? Any help or guidance would be amazing and much appreciated.
