A personal statement is personal and should have a story line pointing to your interest in the particular subject, your motivation, qualification and preparedness. As such, it is critical that it is as tuned to the particular subject as possible. Using the economics personal statement and including accounting and finance as options weakens it and presents you as an individual who is not aware of what they want.
