What are tutorial sessions?

I have a taster day at a sixth form college in November and on the itinerary I have multiple tutorial sessions. Does anyone know what is actually going to happen during them because I have no clue

A tutorial is a term used to describe a small and interactive class. You will be able to engage with the content you will be learning, discuss ideas, and talk with your peers. So rather than it being more of a lecture style approach with 30+ people there will probably only be a small handful of you so you can really get to know each other and engage with the learning.
