grade bands

this is for scottish grades but does anyone know if scottish unis look at grade bands - like a1 or a2, or do they just see the grace A?

No they don't, they just see the subject with the grade next to it, however if you got any high grades it is a good idea to put that in your personal statement, i.e., if you got an A1 in chemistry, put that in because it will give you an edge over the competition that way :smile:

Not sure how English unis work, but I'm assuming they work the same since you are applying to both through UCAS
