Hi, thanks for your message! are you applying for MA or BA? The global creative and cultural industries programme at SOAS is well resourced and the academics are experts in their field. Professor Angela Impey, teaching the MA Programme has a range of publications with her current research focusing on on ethno-ornithology, climate change and the soundworlds of*the Africa-Eurasia flyways. In the MA programme, you'll learn about the history, cultural value and cultural market of the cultural economy through a global lens with a focus on the global film industry and the global music business. The degree is 180 credits with approximately 10 hours of work per week. The campus climate is a friendly, diverse, cosmopolitan community of students from all over the world. It is located in central London in Bloomsbury in Russel Square, a short walk from many of London’s bars, cafes and world-famous social and cultural sights, including the British Museum and the British Library. It is a great place you can make life-long friends by joining society events and immersing yourself in sports clubs like MENA, debating society and many more. Hope this helps!
