I'm taking Advanced Higher English and my Specialist Study is 30% of my grade, so it's pretty important. But im having second thoughts about the texts and topic I've chosen, and I was wondering if anyone could help me out, with advice on how to approach it or if you think I should change it.
My current plan is 'a critical analysis of the presentation of women in Edgar Allan Poe's short stories', and I'm analysing 5 of his short stories (Berenice, Ligeia, The Fall of the House of Usher, The Oval Portrait and The Black Cat). i dont think anyone else has done 5 short stories though, everything I see online is mostly either two novels or like three poems. If anyone could give a bit of advice it would be much appreciated, thank you!
