Graduate Entry Veterinary Medicine

Hi!
I am currently studying Zoology at Exeter and as soon as I am done here, I am hoping to go onto the Graduate Entry Vet course at Bristol.

Just wondering what the process is like compared to applying for the undergrad course and when I should start preparing for it / when the deadlines are. (I’ll most likely apply for the 2026 start)

Hey! The process is the same as the normal undergraduate admissions. The deadline is the usual October one and work experience is also necessary for most universities (same amount of hours etc.). For grades, vet schools look at your university grades, and some have A-level and GCSE requirements alongside. I suggest you start getting work experience in the summer after your 1st year as you will get more busy in your 2nd year, don't leave everything until the last minute! Make sure you also check the individual university websites for the exact requirements. Good luck!
