medicine

I’m currently in year 12 and i’m expecting good grades next year. I’m thinking of applying to medicine or pharmacy. I got 888777665 at gcse. the 5 is in english language, I’ve checked entry requirements for university’s i would get into pharmacy but not medicine. Am i at an disadvantage if i apply to medicines that require a 6 or should i just retake
You should aim to retake the English language GCSE if required for your course - as GCSE requirements are normally hard requirements and you will be automatically rejected if you don't meet those.

Provided you do meet that requirement or are retaking and on target to achieve it, no reason not to apply to medicine
Thank you!
