Hi,
I would really like to know some recent data on the number of students that Southampton interviews for medicine and the average number of offers it makes? Has anyone seen any recent stats on this?

I strongly recommend submitting an FOI (Freedom of Information) request through the website 'What Do They Know', to get these stats if you cannot find any.

Places you could find these stats:
- University website under admissions statistics
- Past FOI requests
- Previous year's thread on TSR

Southampton has been refusing the FOI regarding admission stats? Think I have seen they refused for November 22... I believe.

sorry i don't, but maybe have a look through the 2023 thread, but bear in mind this will be a small sample size and may not be representative of the actual cutoff

hi @GANFYD ,
do i have a chance with a 2700 ucat band 1 and 9999888877 for gcses?
contextual
i called them and they said the cut off for contextual applicants has been between 2400 and 2600 for last 3 years, but this is different to what is being said above so confused.

oh it was just because you said about scoring 22/24 for gcses. the contextual cutoff for southampton last year was around 2730, so would it would be a risky choice
