level 4 data analyst

im very close to getting an offer for the level 4 data analytics apprenticeship but im afraid that it isn't as good as a degree-level and if i wanted to switch companies it will be more difficult to be hired. has anybody else been in this position of not having a degree but it didn't affect their career prospects?

Whilst a Level 4 apprenticeship is not equivalent to a degree, there is more to be said about the experience you'll gain.

Background: I was a data analyst, and became a data scientist working at multiple companies without a degree. I learned on the job.

So I wouldn't worry about the qualification. If you went for jobs at a different company, I guarantee they'll be more interested in your experience than your qualification. As a hiring manager in the past for data analysts and data scientists, I seldom looked at the qualification, I was more interested in their experience and whether they could perform well on the data analysis test scenarios I gave.
