Bioveterinary Science Vs Animal Science

Hi,
I'm currently researching which university to choose for my 5th choice (my other choices are taken by vet med), however I can't tell the difference between bioveterinary science and animal science. Is it is just the same degree with a different name or is there something I'm missing?

Would you be happy to go ahead and study your fifth option instead if you were to be rejected from your vet med choices or would you prefer to take a gap year and reapply? Many applicants don’t put a fifth option for that very reason. My daughter didn't.
If you’re thinking of possibly doing another degree first and then applying as a postgraduate then bear in mind the huge costs involved in funding a second degree. Also take into account that applying for postgrad places on the vet med courses is even more competitive than undergrad.
