good college for graduate students?

Yeah my advice to you is to stay clear of Hughes Hall in general. There are better colleges out there, and my first hand experience of Hughes Hall has been tumultuous to say the least. I entered Cambridge full of hope and aspirations, but within the first term their complete neglect of scholarship and academic welfare just set me back completely. It has been four years of struggle and I find myself here in my last year with my dreams of continuing in academia totally dashed.

There are people I know who graduated from Hughes hall who are in a very sorry state now. Economics and physics graduates who cannot find a job even after lowering their expected pay to less than 1000 USD/month. I know it's probably due to the economic crisis, but it just serves to add to the gloom that begun when I entered Hughes Hall.

So for the sake of your soul, choose another college.

IIt's also in a nice location, it's right beside the rugby pitch(the blues training right outside my room is a plus :smile:

That's Clare Hall, yes. Robinson is in that direction though but across another (Herschel) road.

Yeah, you can see my house in that picture(kinda) robinson is across the road from us, but it looks similar, we're both full of redbrick.
