Life at hull

I am currently thinking about attending Hull university. However when looking at the nightlife I've seen lots of clubs and bars that my brother told me about from when he went are shut down. I was just wondering if the university has a good few clubs and is it a fun city when going on nights out.

if I'm being honest the nightlife is awful and there's no studenty atmosphere in comparison other cities.

Honestly if nightlife is important for you while studying, Hull isn't the best at all, there is the odd few alright places though.

It has gone seriously downhill in the last 10+ years, especially in the old town, shame really it used to be fairly good.
