modern languages vs maths

hi! i am just wondering from anyone else’s experience whether it is better to take maths or a language to advanced higher. (i scored 81% and 78%) respectively.

Hi, I'm doing AH French and Spanish this year which I really recommend! For Advanced Higher, one of the biggest differences is that you will study some literature or a film in your target language, then write a portfolio essay in English. The essays in the exam are discursive essays on a range of topics, instead of Directed Writing at Higher. Other than that, the papers follow a similar format, just at a higher level. I'm going to study languages at university next year, so it's a good idea to consider your future plans. Maths and languages are both very applicable subjects though. Hope this helps!
