Is L2 Further Maths Relevant to Medicine

Hi,

I sit GCSEs this summer and am taking 13, here are my predicted grades.

Bio 9
Chem 9
Eng Lang 9
Eng Lit 9
Further Maths 5
French 9
Geography 9
History 9
Latin 8
Maths 8
Physics 8
RE 9

I’m doing bio, chem, psychology, and french + EPQ
I want to study medicine

As I’m not doing maths A-Level, is Further Maths worth it for med school, despite my predicted grade being fairly low compared to my others? Should I drop it and focus on my other A-levels?

Thanks

If you know you can’t get good grade for further maths then i would recommend not to take it and focus on maths gcse. i guess it will drag your application down if you want to apply for competitive uni( they like 7-9)
