Fine Art Offer 2024

hi i've had offers for both newcastle and edinburgh for fine art!!

I have also applied to Newcastle but I have not heard from it yet as of today. Not sure when they are going to address it. The application status on their portal is still Awaiting Decision. Does anyone know when they will ask for interview?

I’ve gotten my invitation on the 5th of February the interviews will go right up until April I believe

Oh Congrats!! That is quick! They
says on their website the majority of their interview usually take place the end of month which I assume they may ask for interview from applicants around this time tho.
I am really not sure about this but I have got a offer from Edinburgh and have also finished my interview for Camberwell. I applied to Slade too but I have just got rejected today via UCAS... So it is only Newcastle that is still hung in the balance.

I’m not sure but good luck! Have u been to the Edinburgh open day? I’ve never visited Edinburgh uni but I’ve been to the city it’s so beautiful

I kinda get why you got an interview so early cuz I Iiterally submitted my portfolio at the last minute so it may take some time for them to look through….
Edinburgh was great when I went to the Open day last October. Despite the weather, the university was great, very well decorated. The ECA main campus was not extremely big but they had enough classrooms and technical facilities for students to specialise their skills inside

That sounds so nice I’ve been doing some research and each website ranked my choices differently so it’s hard to tell which uni would be the best option I’m leaning towards Newcastle just because it’s a lower offer because PARTNERS the others are all ABB. I don’t think there will be an offer holder day for Edinburgh tho? I looked on the website and it’s not on the list

I've applied for Newcastle for Fine Art but not heard anything. Does anyone have any idea what order they look at applications in? I applied just before the deadline- does this mean I'm at a disadvantage and bottom of the pile? Will they have likely given out their maximum number of offers before they even look at my portfolio? I applied quite a bit before the deadline for Newcastle. Still waiting on UCL but Leeds or Loughborough probably my favourites. How about you guys?

The university closes for Easter tomorrow! I can't help but think if I haven't heard by now it must be a rejection! They don't reopen until 22nd April.
