Hey I just received an unconditional art foundation place yesterday along with my other friend - they heard somewhere that they’d get back to people by the end of march or something? I don’t think I would worry too much it’s still early! Good luck!

You get an email!! Then they give you an OSIS login for your application

The deadline for universities to get back to you about offers is at the end of May- so you should expect to hear back before then

Hello I’m an international student and got a conditional offer for art foundation last month. I was told to send my English ielts results and my A level Art results on OSIS no later than 23rd July. But isn’t A level results day on the 15th of August? Also I can’t find a section in OSIS where I can put my results in.*(°A°`)╮

Congratulations on your offer! I would say contact the admissions office as they will be able to help with your application, make sure to put you Kingston ID and full name in the subject of the email to
[email protected]
The official beginning of term for new starters is 16th September, however I do know foundation is usually an early start so I would say check with the course leader and keep an eye out on your emails, the best time to come would be early September. International and foundation students get to move in to accommodation early.

hi everyone!! congrats to all of you on getting in!! i really want to do foundation at kingston in 2025 but i’m struggling to know what to put in my portfolio - i have some finished pieces and my epq is very creative so i think i’ll include it. what is stumping me the most is the layout! do you just put pictures of the piece? or annotation?? i’m very confused lol
any advice would be so so helpful thank you!

It's great to hear that you are thinking of studying the foundation course here at Kingston! It sounds like you have some great pieces to include, so when it comes to layout I would say keep the annotation brief and make sure the pieces are clear and large images of them they should be the main focus of each page. Annotation should just be a brief title of the piece and a little about the concept.
