sussex uni accommodation

hi! i'm starting psychology at sussex this september and have a few questions about accommodation. what are people's experiences with getting their preferred accom? also if anyone has been in off-campus accom (king's road, uni houses) during first year, how was it in terms of socialising and commuting? is it possible to cycle to uni from these accoms? thank you! :smile:

hoping to apply tonight but east slope looks nice on the website. just so expensive 😭😭 have you applied?

ikr it’s all so expensive!!! honestly i wish i’d accepted my offer from aberystwyth, all of the accoms were like £100/w 😭 i’m hopefully applying tonight too! will probably go for brighthelm or lewes bc they’re on the cheaper side, tho i agree east slope looks rly nice and i’ve seen people on here say it’s the best accom
